Amanda Harris, our presenter, is an Exercise Physiologist/Medical Exercise Specialist, specializing in the post-rehabilitative care of spine disorders and total joint replacement.

She is the former Executive VP of Fitness & Wellness for ACAC, and was a co-creator of ACAC’s Physician Referred Exercise Program. Over her 20-year career, she has helped hundreds return to an active lifestyle after injury or surgery.

She founded Re-Kinect, LLC in 2013, Richmond’s only post-rehab and medical exercise practice. Amanda and Re-Kinect were featured in the Richmond Times Dispatch in September of 2015, and mentioned in Success Magazine in March, 2016.

She has presented nationally on the topic of Medical Exercise, including being a Guest Speaker for The National Medical Exercise Summit in 2015 and 2017. Amanda earned her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Virginia. She is a Certified Medical Exercise Specialist, RedCord Active Specialist, and ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist.
