/Meet New Physician at WellcomeMD Open House
Wellcome MD, in Mooresville, will conduct an open house for the public to meet the practice’s newest physician, Dr. Charity Kates, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on April 15. Certified by the Institute of Functional Medicine and board certified in family medicine, she employs a mix of traditional science-backed medical techniques with functional medicine options.
Kates has been practicing medicine since 2011 and most recently worked for Parsley Health with previous employment with Atrium Health and Novant Health. She earned her medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College and residency at Atrium Health Carrabus, in Concord, North Carolina.
She has been recognized by the National Committee on Quality Assurance for both Patient Centered Medical Home Level 3 certification and for Diabetes Management.
